HIGH SECURITY KITEMARK LOCKING CYLINDERS
As publicised in the media, an increasingly common method of breaking and entering is to snap the euro locking barrel fitted to most PVC and some Timber and Aluminium doors. Old type standard locking barrels generally have key slots which are vertical when the key is removed.
Euro Locking Cylinders can be replaced with hi-spec kitemarked ABS locks, tested against lock picking, drilling, bumping, snapping and forced entry as recommended by West Yorkshire Police.
